Curious about this, 4" concentric for other more recent make & Model in your arsenal seems to be a valued tool, why not the Tesoro equivalent?
As you know, I prefer smaller-size coils for most of my search needs. Usually a 7" Concentric or smaller with just two mid-size coil exceptions. Those are a 5X9½ DD on my Nokta CoRe and a Nokta Relic.

No depth?
Correct, not on a Tesoro model. Not nearly as good as:

4" Concentric on a Fisher F44 or Teknetics Omega 8000
'OOR' DD on a Nokta CoRe
5" DD on a Nokta Relic, or a Fisher F44, or Tek. T2+ and Omega 8K
6" Concentric on my Tesoro Bandido II µMAX or Silver Sabre µMAX.

No better separation over the 5.75" concentric?
Possibly, Yes, it might separate a little better than the 6" Concentric on a Tesoro, but it isn't as good as the 'OOR' on my Nokta CoRe or 5" DD on my Nokta Relic or Teknetics T2+

No place even in the worst trash contamination?
It might do better than a 6" Concentric on a Tesoro, but it doesn't work as well as the 6" on a Tesoro for general-use applications.

Inquiring minds got my answer, for whatever it's worth.
