I also think the better Questions and Answers to your thoughts might come from posting them on the Minelab Electronics Forum. Today, I don't use and have in my personal detector battery a Garrett, Minelab or XP product, but I added those Forums because I figured there would be sufficient product owners to keep brand discussions active or was asked to add them, especially Minelab and XP, because we have registered participants who do use them.
I have owned and tried most of the Garrett offerings, but they didn't cut it for me so I don't have one. I am a bit interested in a Minelab or XP product and plan to give one that appeals to me a run sometime this year and see if I have to make room and fit it in my Outfit. But I do have my personal favorite Tesoro models, which draws my interest to this Forum, and I have just added two more duplicates because I come across a lot of folks who are looking for a good-working and 'simple' to use Tesoro.
You mentioned a couple of topic points, both 'fast processing' and 'simultaneous multi-frequency' that are definitely topic points for Minelab users of the models of interest. You might post there and read some interesting answers or analogies folks have about a particular topics. Might get an answer or two to steer you towards,
or away, from a new detector acquisition.
