hunt with a Tesoro and CleanSweep or a White's with a BigFoot, years ago when they were earlier released and I lived in Utah. They'd hit a grassy school or park, and also move along at a too-fast pace, pausing only to pluck some shallower stuff. Their fast pace wasn't as detrimental with the White's back then because those were so-called 4-Filter detectors and could be, or needed to be, worked at a little faster sweep speed. But those Tesoro users with a CleanSweep violated the slow-motion rule with their 2-Filter Tesoro's that suffer in more mineralized or rockier conditions with a sweep speed that is
too fast.
I'd happily go in behind them, either later on or just join the fun a good 50 feet or so behind, and gladly recover the 'left-overs.' I sometimes used a different brand/model, but most often was using a favorite Tesoro at the time, and those were rare instances when I'd replace my 7" Concentric coil and actually use a stock 8" coil just to get a little better depth. Not much, but at least ½" to 1". Their trash removal did work to my benefit since they typically got more discarded foil and tabs than I did, while only getting about half the coin depth I was achieving.
A pause to bring back some memories.
