An excellent write up Monte & thanks for posting it.-----To those that don't know---Of all the Tesoro models---the Bandito 2 micro max was also the favorite of Rusty Henry (Tesoro).----If Monte says it & Rusty says it---you better pay attention to what they are saying!
thumbs up

'Thank You,' Del. A short post, especially for me, but just a reminder here on the Tesoro Forum, and one on the White's Forum, to those who have used these models, or anyone considering some of the better detectors we have enjoyed in the past that these can still provide us with excellent in-the-field performance. I had eliminated the specific models I maintain in my Regular-Use Detector Outfit from my 'Signature' below, but I updated that yesterday to reflect the 7 different models I enjoy having on my 'team' for so many different applications.

Matter of fact, we have a regular Forum contributor who has been relying on some of the newer or upper-end models, and doing quite well, who just acquired a modified IDX Pro this week to add to his stable of detectors. He set out to use it and learn it yesterday and, from what I heard, was going to work with it a bit more today at a couple of different locations. No doubt we'll be hearing about his recent detecting activity and envy some of the results he'll share with us soon.

I have both my modified IDX Pro w/6½" Concentric coil and Bandido II µMAX w/6" Concentric coil loaded in my vehicle right now, with a CoRe, Relic, V-540 and Simplex +, I've had some things to take care of today and had to take Miss Rikki to the vet and get her some meds, but hope to get away this afternoon for a couple of hours of hunting. The old site has been chosen, and I plan to work it with the modified IDX Pro .. then the Bandido II µMAX .. then the V-540 .. and finish up with the CoRe and/or Relic. I'll do that today and finish up tomorrow or just tackle the series of models all tomorrow. Weather is excellent, and while we are never guaranteed success afield, I plan to grid off two areas and concentrate on finding all good signals as well as the better 'iffy' responses for potentially masked keepers.

One thing for sure, I couldn't ask for a better bunch of detectors to make the 'team' .... Game On!!
