Lessons from a short Compadre jaunt....

First, don't mess with East Texas weather! When I left, the sun was shining. Soon as the Compadre was swept a few minutes-rain! Hide under school walkway for a few minutes- pause in sprinkle. After about 5 times running back and forth, I was almost blown off my feet- in about a sudden downpour with no warning and I thought I had stepped in the middle of a tornado! I could barely see to drive out of the parking lot!
(1) Plastic grocery bags make good bags to place trash.
(2) Plastic grocery bags make great detector coverssmiling smiley
(3) How am I missing all those coins with other detectors?moody smiley
(4) A thin screwdriver/retrieval tool is a great alternative ID. You can actually hear the scraping sound of aluminum. The point will stick in cans. Coins feel solid.
(5) Pencil erasers should be banned! After all, isn't it better to NOT encourage mistakes?
(6) I would like to meet the guy who says a Compadre has little depth and let him explain the 5" pulltabs!
Well, I'm at home drying out, so enough for now.confused smiley
