I believe Rusty is now enjoying retirement and less stress in his life, and his departure from Tesoro is a loss for them as well as consumers who send units in for service. You have to wonder who they might have in-house or try to acquire to fill the void Mr. Henry left? They don't have the $$$ the bigger guys have, nor the design engineering smarts to keep up with modern detector offerings from here in the US or most major foreign makers.
I tried to talk Rusty into coming to the Wells, NV ghost town hunt back in May of this year, he said it sounded like fun but his calendar was full for the whole month. He also said that he planned on doing a lot of detecting while retired.
We had a pleasant phone conversation and he confided in me about his retirement. I won't go into any details on that subject. I had to send my INCA in for service and he said Carl would take good care of it. Carl did a great job on it and it cost me some bucks to get it fixed. It is worth it though as this detector is very hot !! I wont put out any numbers but it is one of my deeper machines. Hard to believe it is over 35 years old...lol..lol...lol
