Probably Turkey is so competitive in field of detectors, more due take-home pay(-ery) than technology.

Take home pay is in Turkey at low end $394 per month (net after taxes).

In USA As of July 1, 2019, effective state minimum wage rates range from $7.25 to $14.00 per hour
(depend on state) that mean $1330 to $2550 per month.

How can USA (proudly home-made) manufacturer be competitive to Turk producers?

If we are talking about (C)APEX (capital expense) Tesoro or Whites production
is about 5 times more cost expensive, than Nokta/Makro production.

End solution is clear. Closed factories in USA.

It is nice to buy cheaper technology from Turkey or China,
but empty pension funds due destroyed homeland production would not be nice.
