And like I do with some other makes / models, I have been enjoying the 'wireless headphones' for several years now, but 2020 has made a big change in that. I have a set of Garrett MS3 headphones and the Tx/Rx modules so I can 'go wireless' with my Nokta CoRe or Relic or White's XLT or MX7. I had the XP ORX that was wireless, and I currently have the Minelab Vanquish 540 w/wireless ML-80 headphones, two Nokta / Makro Simplex + devices with their wireless headphones, and now I am very pleased with my Apex and Z-Lynked MS3 headphones. A very nice audio in a comfortable headphone, especially for this hearing impaired character .... and using the AT ProPointer w/Z-Lynk adds to the pleasure. My Killer B Hornet and Wasp headphones are not going to be seeing a lot of use for a while.
I started out with the Apex yesterday and on until after midnight doing a lot of testing and 'sampling' to get some ideas. The real difference and best way to learn the Apex, or any detector, is to take it out hunting just as you would any detector on any day and to any place. Learn how it does in a 'natural' search environment.
Enjoy your new detector. I know I am.
