I hit a local soccer field the other day. When my daughters played years ago it was known as Power Lines Fields. When I fired up the Apex it went absolutely nuts. I had it in MF and running 1 bar shy of full sensitivity. I backed off another notch with no improvement so I proceeded to run through the channels looking to see if I could quiet it down. Still no luck so I started running through the frequencies and found the cure. After switching to 15 khz I tamed the chatter and was able to push the sensitivity back up to full. A couple of hours later and a hand full of clad, I had my detecting fix in for the day. Here's a picture of the field. There's a total of 5 separate lines of poles.
