Ran up to a local ball field with the Apex Saturday late morning for a little hunt time. I was running in 10 khz with the sensitivity wide open. Within 10 minutes I hit a solid 89-90 signal. At 4" out pops a shiny quarter. My initial thought was that cannot be a clad that shiny at 4". Took a look at the date and saw 1952

. Its been quite a spell since my last silver quarter, heck silver coin period! The rest of the hunt produced a few clad coins and a heap of Crown Royal screw caps. Someone liked to use that field for their bottle tipping.
