Only 1 1967 Clad Dime. 0 Nickels and 0 Quarters.. 4 Memorial Pennies, but 28 Wheat-Backs came out of there so far. Your would figure there must be some silver coins lurking there as well. I won't give up. Except for when the storm arrived yesterday at 3:33 with high wind and rain.. It was already a bit cool and the high winds didn't help. Plus, it is a big, bladed double lot and all that grading moved the weeds and surface dirt, but all the loose dirt and arrival of rain quickly made it a muddier place to hunt. Now I'm waiting for a couple of dry days to return. Plus I'd like to work a smaller or mid-size coil in there because there is a lot of debris to deal with and the 6X11 Dd is just a bit bigger than what is needed to provide better performance.
It's a big area, I have the owner's permission, and I am thinking they might not do anything further until perhaps February or March with the two adjacent lots. Just need improved weather, but I'll report back after the next opportunity to work it.
