Took 2 hours and hit a small part of a grassy area at the local indoor pool. I was using the Ripper coil on the Apex running 15 Khz in Jewelry mode and 1 bar shy of full sensitivity. I have never hunted this little area and its only blocks from the house. My game plan was to give the Ripper a try in the HotWheel graveyard, but there was a group playing baseball so Plan B it was. I covered an area maybe 25'x 10' and it was a target rich environment. I popped 33 coins, 1 copper ring, 1 key and a trophy topper. The key is the smallest one I have ever dug. I pictured it next to a penny for size. My wife said its smaller than the diary keys she had growing up. The ring had been smacked hard and broke. I did quick job making it somewhat presentable. I accepted the trophy topper as my participation award for getting out today. Its an older one made of some type of metal as opposed to the new ones now that are plastic. The Ripper coil did a fantastic job sniffing out the good targets amongst the trash in this area.
