It was a good post partly because you were able to get out during this wintry and cold season for some of us. Congrats on your success, and having a new and different spot to hunt.
I have a lot of detectors, but I am really enjoying the Apex, and that 5 x 8 Ripper coil is by far my favorite to use for all my day-to-day detecting. Very good performance.
And the educational hint for some folks? The emphasis of hunting the site slowly and methodically, overlapping, and that was shown by you spending a couple of hours in a 10 x 25 foot area. There's a lot to be found out there if a lot of folks would just slow down and quit wondering all over.
I hope you can enjoy some more favorable weather to get out again as we go deeper into December.
