While some of the hooks you might find could be made of brass or iron, that Lake site is nothing compared to the ghost towns when it comes to iron nails and extreme iron contaminated debris.
It would be fun to hear your reaction if you were to spend a couple of days hunting some of the more ferrous challenged parts of 'Lonesome Arch', 'Lone Tree' or 'Rippvillr' in Oregon, or 'Toano' Nevada, to name just four places. Many people have hunted locations that have quite a few iron nails and other scattered debris, and feel they have hunted a tough nail challenge site. And then they come and experience some of the town's I mentioned, and walk away with a different view of what iron nail contamination is.
