... there are a few that do get my head nodding instead of shaking. The 'Snake' coil on a Racer 2 is one, and the 'Sharpshooter' on some models is another. I might have to try the Detech 9" sometime. I do really enjoy the light-and-efficient Ripper as my main-use coil on the Apex, and the Raider is fine for wide-open / sparse-target areas and i keep it at-the-ready on my 2nd Apex. My other 7 models all have a small to mid-size coil mounted because my primary site conditions favor those size groups.
