Joel, I really like the camo look of my new Fisher F19 Ltd. with the darker green camo, but I do like the Garrett Apex camo color ... and also really like the standard Apex in black and a nice color yellow that isn't over-done.

I was just on the Garrett website this afternoon and I noticed some changes. One was that the Jase Robertson Apex in camo comes with the 8½X11 Raider coil. The standard 'yellow' color Apex is available with one of two 'standard' coils. Either the 6X11 DD 'Viper' or the 8½X11 DD 'Raider' coil. The 5X8 DD 'Ripper' coil is just an accessory option. but it is my favorite coil I keep mounted full-time. The 'Raider' is a nice coil for hitting a beach or larger grassy park or plowed field or pastureland, but the 'Ripper' coil is a dandy for everyday hunting in common ground.
