The E800 does pick up a little EMI on occasion.----The most effective thing I've found to combat it is to lower the sensitivity until it smooths out.----Performing a noise cancel doesn't seem to help much in this situation.----If the EMI is bad enough, you could try going to a single frequency (out of the SMF--and something I don't like to do).---------Del

Has anybody had experience with the equinox picking up EMI pretty heavily? At the ol Family homestead there are power lines running through the fields, and I have noticed it really bugs out my machine creating false signals. I have tried the frequency shift but it does not help much. Any other ideas?
