yes i do spend time over there, and have been reading that eq post from him with very keen interest.what i have been able to ascertain is that the guys using his settings are really doing well as evidenced by the posts i am reading. if tom has determined that "certain" settings will work "most" of the time with the detector in the field, then that's probably as close as one will get to "basically having a "turn and go" detector.not a bad thing, knowing you are working with an instrument that provides so many options afield! .i'm just sayin'
