Re: Equinox update part II

I used the F2 Iron bias for a short hunt on Monday evening. Only a short time to hunt and went to a local park that I've spent many, probably hundreds of hours with a detector. I have dug lots of clad, a few silver rings but only one silver dime there. On Monday I pulled a second silver dime, a 1952-D Rosie about 4-5 inches down and next to an undug large ferrous target. I could not pinpoint the dime with the Equinox because it was so close to the iron, and used the wiggle method to locate and recover it. I can't say that I would not have found it with old settings, just that it is a rare occurence to find silver in this park. It is possible that the new iron bias setting made a difference in there being less masking, but this was in no way a scientific experiment. All functions operated as they should with the update IMO.
My hunting total time in the park was less than an hour and a half.
