Monte are you say'n that the 1851 silver 3 cent coin that Zincoln found does not meet the specified requirements, that in fact, it is a fake, fraud, impersonator ????
Awww poor Zincoln, prob break his heart when he reads this. I guess the only thing to do would be throw in back on the ground somewheres in Lonesome Arch and try to find a real one that meets specs
( remember throw it back in Lonesome Arch)
If zincoln's 3¢ piece was an 1851 to 1853, then he found one of those nifty 'Mixed-Metal' 3-Centers instead of holding out for one of the later-date, 1854 or genuine ~90% Silver 3¢ specimens. He just made one of the older, harder-to-find almost silver version that had a lower percentage of the high-quality, more-conductive silver alloy in it. Next time he'll go after 'the real thing.'
Of course, give zincoln a chance to chime in and he'll likely claim he found it with that lower volume of silver because he was using his White's detector.
