I agree Rich, prob one of the best combos actually. I've been trying to prove my 800 as a good ghost town iron machine. Everyone always says they are so good in the iron trash. I just cant see it. The deus with 9x35 coil mounted is easier to pick out goodies in the heavy trash then 800 with 6" coil. Of coarse I'm talking about as bad as you can handle type sites. Have a couple more tricks up my sleeve to try though before I totally rule it out lol.
