Can't tell you how many rings I've dug up the last few years that initially had me thinking Gold, or white gold, or platinum, or sterling, etc. Then I get home and take a super magnet to it and clink . . . . not gold, not platinum, not silver. Just junk.

I wonder if the person that lost the pseudo gold necklace knew it was 'not gold' or if they've filed an insurance claim against their homeowners policy never knowing they got took. ? ? ?

Better luck next go round ! The good thing is that SOME of the necklaces and rings lost out there are actually precious metal and not just all show bling bling.
