... you might be right about it not fitting, kind of like a bad pair of wrong-size shoes.
I'm trying gradually to get back to using my cane at least a little bit, but I might have a day that isn't too bad followed by a couple or a few where my imbalance is a real challenge with falls or almost falls. It takes a it but I'll go out to my back yard with a detector just to play around on a few targets, but I still can't amble along and hunt yet. Tricky enough to get a detector and make it out the door without my walker. At least I have been trying.
As I try different models I am mainly listening to the audio responses, and then I make an occasional glance at the display. I know that if I can regain some ability to get around and hunt then in a few months I can start doing more Coin Hunting in modern trash where I might want VDI read-outs more than at the old sites. And when I head out back I can only manage to get one detector out there at a time, so those that I seem to enjoy less I'm starting to show less interest in them and simply grab an other unit that I prefer. I have to admit that you might be right and I latched onto a shoe that just isn't quite my style. and by the end of the Outing, if it takes that long, I might thin out one or two of my detectors. Just waiting for the service department to get the new 11" coils in and replace the defective one I sent them.
