Just so happens I also recently got one (arrived a week ago) -- mine from Rob's Detectors in Arizona. I've had it out in four sites (only about an hour each) for test drives. I don't have enough time on it to really say how much different it is than the 6" round DD and how much different it is than the 11" DD. Obviously one would expect it to be in-between in performance based upon its size and shape.

I also plan on doing some simple test-garden trials with it in the next couple weeks. I'll report what I find.
