I am referring to the Equinox 800, and from its release I mainly agreed. However, then I was more maneuverable and I mainly Relic Hunted some challenging sites and had the detectors I liked for that. But times change, and that includes my health. I am hoping to get back to using a cane instead of walker, and when I do I will, be shifting to mainly urban Coin Hunting.
Again, I have a good assortment of detectors I like and will use, but for some hunting I decided I wanted to add a little variety of my outfit and have acquired an Equinox 800. I am mainly going to use it with the 6" DD coil, but when I get the standard 11" replaced
(it came with broken rod-mount ears) it will be the tool for wide-open grassy parks and such.
In over fifty-seven years of detecting I have learned some things, and one of those is if you have the desire to learn, you can. With the EQ-800 I do, and I have been working on some programs / settings that I think will work for me. But since I am interested in learning, I am curious what some of the settings are that others use.
I do not like to start arguments or debates on this subject so instead of posting your settings for me, please send them to me in a PM or e-mail. I would really appreciate it.
