Seems us poor folks in the old US of A were finally visited by the Minelab / manticore team. Debbie. Treasure talk live stream at Myers Detector Sales down in Florida.

Mark Lawrie, Chief engineer from The manticore team, who was present for the roll out in Europe and hands on demonstrations in multiple countries, was noticeably absent and Debbie was in his place for some live stream question and answer. Not sure if Mark was originally scheduled to be here and had to cancel or if we don't rate well enough. But there you go, it is what it is. Perhaps the sarcasm posted online regarding the name Manticore irked the wrong folks or maybe the US had the largest number of flooded equinoxs or perhaps it was due to our beloved (cough cough) YouTube personality CalabashDigger turning toxic on the 'Nox after a 4+ year love affair with it, and then he runs off in the middle of the night with the Deus 2. eye popping smiley. Lol.

I didn't hear anything new about the manticore features that hasn't been covered already. Minelab is working on a common target ID conversion chart to help those coming from the equinox move over to the new Manticore target ID scale. Oh boy.

Minelab is trying to have the detector out by the end of the year. I assume that means 2022. thinking The equinox had launch dates that were moved back several times which only frustrated hopeful buyers. I was one of those so I'm not holding my breath this time.
