I have seen two seller's posts that claimed the Vsnquish RnB Lithium Battety could get up to 30 hours run-time. Generally, folks detect with headphones which might reduce battery draw for the speaker. Also, most users will reduce the Sensitivity if there us annoying EMI.
For me, I like to test batteries using a full Volume, Full Sensitivity, using the Speaker, broad Discrimmination range of acceptance, and a lot of constant EMI. I am using my Custom program that accepts everything except the first two Disc. segments.
Also, I positioned the unit to be constantly chirpy noisily from EMI and use more battery for operation and the loud speaker. I charged the RnB battery fully and it ran constsnt for 23 Hrs. 24 Min. I recharged it to run agsin for an average run-time. As I type this it is at 13 Hr. 18 Min. and still raising a racket. I checked the Vanquish battery display and it still shows all the segments full.
When this RnB battery is done I will test the 4 Minelab AA NiMH batteries, then the Varta, then the two different Eneloops I have. I am doing this with a couple of friends with the Vanquish because it goes through batteries faster than any other detectors we own.
