A couple finds pics - The area is large but has been heavily hunted over the years. The gray layer beneath the sand is nasty, claylike and smells bad and sets off my garrett propointer AT unless i detune the pinpointer to it. Add the extra salty water in the ground and either standing salt water or running fresh / salt water mix from the snow and rain and i found myself needing to make adjustments to sensitivity and ground balance.
I'll be watching the weather for an opening at an old park I've hunted over the years.
