The GSL can have challenging ground.

I was hunting it with two friends who were using their Explorer II's w/11" DD coils. They had trouble hitting on a Penny at about 8"-9". I got a solid hit and Target ID using my 6.6 kHz modified White's IDX Pro w/950 Conentric coil. They were surprised.

The ground mineral condition can change and really throw you off. I also hit on a .357 bullet deeper than they could.
