Jamie thanks for posting a link. Although I didn't completely read every word, I skimmed thru it.
Looks like it offers 5,10,15 KHz in the Park & Field modes and only 8KHz in the Beach mode. I have never hunted a beach so don't know if that is a good freq. or not for that.
One thing that caught my eye and didn't expect to see on a lower-end budget machine was Recovery Speed adjustments. It looks like it has 3 adjustments ( slow, med, fast) you can make. And if it can use Nox coils vice versa, Nokta might have its hands full keeping up on the lower end. If this pans out as it sounds, they could sell a bunch of them.
Without seeing the new Simplex manual, at this point they went to 15KHz and like Monte said the original Simplex was at 12KHz which I felt was a good thing. And kinda like Monte, haven't figured out what Nokta is trying to achieve with the new 15KHz Simplex machine.
