Thank you. Yes I was doing a tilled Garden area that was a very old home found a lot of artifacts but that's an interesting comment you make and yes Portland area. Yesterday I was up in East Oregon and getting targets maybe 6 in deep but that's it that's a different type of soil though I would assume. Unfortunately for me I have rather wimpy arms so getting down 12in is not easy unless I'm in the dirt area where I can use a shovel legally.
