I had a CZ6 converted to a 6a, and other CZ models to include the 3D and 70 and 70A, but my favorite of that series was the CZ-5. I owned a few off-and-on for several years and they were a very solidly-built detector. Very durable, and they could Pinpoint quite well with their standard 8" Concentric coil. They got decent depth for Coin Hunting old grassy parks and private yards, and for those reasons the CZ-5 appealed to me.
However, I mainly search dense iron contaminated sites and they didn't do as well in handling iron as I liked, and as my back and other health issues got worse, the CZ's top-heavy weight and balance became less pleasant. I was using other makes and models, as I generally do, and I found the CZ was seeing less and less use so I let the last one go a number of years ago and don't miss it today.
The 'modern' F44 isn't in the same class, but it also has several plus points over the CZ's for the casual urban Coin Hunting tasks I grab it for and I'm fine with that.
