Definitely not my preferred size search coil, but I have one mounted to one of my Fisher F44's, and since I am setting out on a coin-gathering mission this week, I'll be working as many tot-lots as I can find between now and Saturday and, with a lot of metal structures, it will be fun to see how the small and thin coil handles those playground challenges.

The rest of my urban Coin Hunting outfit is at-the-ready with a 6" Concentric or 7" Concentric coil to handle most of the work, but who knows .... Maybe this dinky coil will find a place for such hunt sites? Time will tell.

Monte,

Good luck on your Coinshooting tomorrow. You taking Gregg and Binkers with you?

My coin collecting or gathering has slowed markedly the last few years at all of the public places that used to be 'higher producers". The wave of the future I guess; electronic transactions and junk jewelry.

Ended up getting a rain event to interrupt the day.

Yes, times have changed, which resulted in less 'change' to be found.
