I keep the 7" Concentric coil mounted full-time and I really like the combination.
Especially due to my health and mobility limits the very light weight is quite welcome!
The F-44 is not my main go-to detector for ghost town hunting and similar places with a lot of nails and other dense ferrous debris, but it IS my first-grab detector for a lot of my urban Coin & Jewelry Hunting because it is so handy and works quite well.
With the standard modes and my custom saved mode, it is an easy unit to get into action and, if desired, make the few simple mode changes or adjustment feature changes.
Mine is saved with Target Volume at '12' to have a low but audible Iron range loudness, and the Sensitivity is saved at '20' for maximum Sensitivity and I haven't had any EMI or performance issues.
And this was kept brief because I am just headed out the door to put my F-44 to work at some local sites.
