LOL geez, my 2nd to last hunt for the year UtahRich joined me and kicked my butt with a bounty hunter or bounty hunter type equivalent machine and now I see your post heaping all that praise on him. His heads gonna swell........I'll be seeing him again in about 3 months......oh what a joy that is going to be

Gregg,
You're getting way ahead of me. . . . . I've not had a First Texas Detector for a while. I had a Teknetics Mark I waaaay back in the day, a Fisher 1265-X, CZ-6, CZ-6a, CZ-5 (Dandowski Tuned

) and a CZ-3D. Haven't had a Bounty Hunter so far. I do have to confess that I'm somewhat taken by the new Fisher Impulse AQ coming out. Not sure it's the right detector for me though as my 800 is doing pretty good so far in my freshwater sites. But getting an AQ would be an excuse to make a few visits to the coast next year.
As for the big head thing. Yes, I do have a larger than average noggin. Those 1-size-fits-all hats are a no-go on my head. And there's no Big Headedness here. If you think I out hunted you on the last outing up you're way, I think you're not remembering that I had a day in lonesome arch of getting zipped / nada / zilched while you continued to make finds. AND you had a lock on the luck at Rippville and were pulling coins and tokens one after the other (despite not having your readers to see what you'd found). It wasn't until you left to meet the UPS guy that Bob and I stood a chance of finding anything. [

I am looking forward to the upcoming year and getting out with the detectors, wherever that may be. Going to keep an eye on AHPRS and see what gets cooking this winter.
