And it would be logical to consider them keeping the Bounty Hunter line as their mass - marketing product and let the other two go.
It's been too much of a struggle in my opinion with a new pulse water unit with so few out and what appears to be only a limited initial production number. No way to make money and they are a business
Some of the other models have physical packaging designs which have been copied, as we know, by China or other Asian manufacturers. Anyone else could obtain those parts from the foreign source, or I wonder if FTP where to close up shop on Fisher & Teknetics products if they would sell those Brands off, or somehow sell off just the rights to the components.
The main components I'm referring to are the t2 and F75 grip and upper rod and housings and that same grip being used on the crookneck rod of the Omega and the G2 Plus models.
If a progressive company, such as Nokta / Makro, have the rights to use the T2 physical package, with the excellent balance, configuration, and more functional arm cup, I could see them taking that physical design and bringing the CoRe and Relic back to life. That would give consumers two excellent detectors in a more comfortable land- based configuration.
Just some thoughts because who knows what's going to happen with FTP. Of course if they made some sort of move to get out of the metal detecting business, that could free up one or two skilled, knowledgeable design engineers. Makes me wonder
