My favorite Teknetics ... is G2 ,, especially with a coil 13 "ultimate./depth of detection / .or with a coil cors chrew / nel snake ... / 2D separation / ... Why? ... it's great for me and universal detector with good ID and simplicity of analog ...
In a few days there will be a test of my G2 with 13 "ultimate .... on the test field" Top Digin ".. where it will be shown how this detector works
I like the rod configuration of the Omega/G2 and the current G2+. Of them I prefer the G2+ over the original G2, but I do enjoy the 2-Tone audio they provide. When I hunt a lot of the very littered old sites, especially encountering a lot of iron nails or other ferrous debris, the 2-Tone sure helps audibly alert me to a good target. I use the 2-Tone on both my Nokta CoRe and Relic quite often, and the 19 kHz Relic has out-performed the G2's and G2+ / F19's I've compared them with afield so those work for me.
I seldom have much use for an over-size coil, and especially little interest in after-market coils .....until now. It looks like I'll be adding a new light-weight but larger-size coil to my detector group for working wide-open parks and the like.
Bet of success to you with the G2 and coil choices.
