One 'blended model I would definitely buy from Fisher / Teknetics ...

October 16, 2021 02:32PM avatar
... would be a T-5. Not to be confused with a Fisher F5, but it would be the F5 circuitry and adjustments, just how they are, in a T2/F75 physical configuration.

Let it keep using the F5 and Greek series coils like it does now, but in the T2/F75 configuration that would put the Headphone Jack at the rear where it belongs, and provide a detector that has more direct user control of the Ground Balance for both modes which the T2 and F75 lack.

I wouldn't mind a couple of extra control knobs on the control face, especially when you can get the overall the overall performance the F5 offers. Plus the advantage of having some Concentric coils to use to include the very functional round 7" Concentric.

They could use a proven model platform, laid out to fit an excellent physical configuration, keep it powered w/o built-in Lithium batteries, and give us a New land- based detector.thumbs up

Just my mind-wandering afternoon thoughts.

I used to use some CZ-5's. I've had CZ-3D's, even a 'Tom Tampered' version, and

Harold, 90% of the ground I hunted was high mineralization.
