I really feel that most people didn't give the Tracker IV an honest shake. The disc circuit is really good for 4-6" targets. It is not for hunting for deep targets, but for what it is built for....it really nails it.
The Tracker IV can be a handy detector for those who are just going after shallower-located coins. Many people who buy one to "get started" are soon unimpressed because it lacks a display and a lot of adjustment functions. To be honest, a lot of people never give
any detector a fair shake and put in the time to learn it, regardless of cost.

I keep the 4" coil mounted. I use it to hunt in sports fields. It really shines in that environment.
Are you talking about the very thin, black, 4" Concentric coil, or a slightly sub-5" white DD coil?

I have half a mind to send you one of mine when you are up to swinging again lol.
No need there. There are so many Tracker IV's out there that not a year goes by where I don't have one to maybe six people drag one out of a closet or storage and bring it to me to help them learn it. Also, my youngest daughter
(she'll be 45 in April) has one she uses now and then, but not often. I have o help her from time to time to refresh her memory.
