It isn't finalized, yet, and it sounds like some Quest dealers have been offering their suggestions and let's hope Quest listens to them. One is to go ahead and offer it with the current 'standard' bigger coil, but also to offer the V80 as a two-coil 'bundle', and my favorite is to offer the V80 with only their mid-size 'Blade'-type coil for all of us who don't need a big coil.
For back-packing or using a 4-Wheeler to get into some out-of-the-way sites, the collapsibility is vey handy. We still do not know which Frequencies or how many will be used in the different SMF modes, and what other 'differences' in design and performance afield it will offer. Time will tell.
I know it might end up being a very well-designed, competitive unit and I might have one in my personal arsenal .... but my SF detectors will remain my primary choices for most applications.
