I'm hoping for the
ORX w/9" X35 coil today
(It's 12.32 AM now) then I'll head out for a bit with my Gray Ghost XP headphones. I know the other models say they use 150 ohm speakers, but their ad says the XP speakers are "matched' for the XP. Not sure what they are using but I'll give a report later on how they work. I'll also try to get the answer on the speakers they use.
I know a quick run in my yard with these Detector Pro headphones was pleasant, and loud enough for me to hear the audio well. Some headphones are too low and impedance and not as loud or as clear sounding which makes it tough for me since I have impaired hearing. That can make a difference in how well headphones seem to perform.
By the way I tried a new-to-me headphone today that sound good and aren't bad except for the corded cable design. They have a
1/
8" mini-plug that I'll try with the
ORX should I pocket-carry the remote, and I'll comment on them later today as well. I do like the Gray Ghost XP's so far but a real test will be to put in some hunt time at the CCC camp.
