For casual readers, the detector was the XP Deus using the GM Power program, unless I'm mistaken. And that was with the 5X9½ DD HF coil, correct? Was that the 'local' river that flows through your park in town? The most rings I found there was 2 back in '92. I used to find a lot of coins back then, but good or costume jewelry finds came few and far between.
Glad you got out early today when it was cooler. Our 'coolness' didn't last for long. At 4:50 this afternoon it was 107° and we hit 106° yesterday. I might head out for some cooler mountain areas this weekend. Might have to look for a potential ring-loss location. You had an impressive morning hunt.
