Thanks, 3 coins at a ghost town is hard to achieve anymore as Joel has said. It wasn't my wife that was the anxious one it was my kids. Hard to hold there attention for very long metal detecting. There was a ton of exploring to do but they wanted to do teenage things like mini golf and arcade games. Had we brought motorcycles along they probably would have lasted longer.
That program I gave cuts down on the iron noise a bit but it suffers in that small items get lost. I noticed things like .22 brass and other similar items were very hard to pick up even when you could see them. I figured that was OK for this area since my focus was on coins. If you wanted to pick up the small stuff simply lowering the reactivity to 2.5 would allow them to come in better.
