I had a little laugh . . . when I decided to go hunt and where to go, I employed a little “Zincolnism,” saying to myself “I’m going to find a soldier’s silver dollar. Well, I got pretty close with a dollar of silver.
Curious about the old Barber, I remember you mentioned coin dates still in circulation. This one would be like finding a 1974 today, so maybe it was just pocket change. Not too long ago I found a 1918 dime in a GI camp.
It is my second Barber quarter. I found a very nice 1916 on Election Day in a logging camp in 2016. (I went out on Election Day 2020 to find a 1920 but whiffed.)
