Monte although the 9x5 Hf is a great coil, I still consider it a specialty coil type only. Here's why I would keep the X35. #1 reason is you have transitioned to more park type hunting style sounds like more then heavy iron sites. #2 The X35 will get you more depth and alot more stable IDs at depth. #3 X35 gives you better frequency selection for coin shooting. #4 X35 gives you more frequencies. #5 X35 did I mention it is also the newest latest greatest release from Xp. #6 weight wise feels a tad bit lighter on the end of the stick. I think Xp set the coils ears back to far on the 9x5s. Oh you can also get the adapter to center the coil with the 9X35. Honestly I wish they would make a X35 version of the 9x5 coils and I would be completely happy with it. Only pros to the 9x5 is the replaceable battery in the stem, and just a hair better separation in the trash. Send me a text will work something out with ya if ya want to do a trade.
