I had an extra XP Deus S-Rod and 9" X35 coil, so I ordered a ORX remote to use as a travelling detector. I received the remote yesterday, so I assembled everything and took it to a park here in Corvallis to try it out and make sure it was working OK. I wasn't really expecting to find much, but I found $4.20 in clad, a $20 dollar bill just laying on top of the ground, and a 14K white gold ring. That is the 3rd gold ring that I have found this year with the Deus and ORX.

I was using a custom program base on the coin fast program:
