The other thing I don't like about the Deus 2 when it comes to deep silver hunting is the compressed TID at the upper end. Dimes 94 silver quarter 97, too close to iron wrap numbers and it's really difficult to ID a deep nail over a deep silver coin in mineralized soil.

The Deus, ORX and Deus II all have a compressed VDI range on the upper-end. That is one of my annoyances.

Many detectors have a "language all their own" that is likeable, and for a lot of urban Coin Hunting I do like the Minelab Audio over the XP audio. Most of th4e units have curre4ntly have in my Detector team have a very telling audio, and that's one3 of the reasons I like them and have them. An EQ-800 might be reacquired, once I check out The Legend's performance and audio, and also down the road when I might get back to using my cane to get around.

I do agree, that can make a good Two-Detector Team for a lot of folks. I wish all manufactures would offer a good 9" round coil and not make us jump to an 11". Yes, they have their place, but I like a 9" coil for times and places where I would go larger than the smaller to mid-size coils that work so well for me.
