Your prob right on the equinox being better at Deeeep silver hunting. Honestly I have a love hate relationship with both deus1&2/ equinox. I only ever deep park hunt in one place and it's been the same one since I started out detecting. I've pulled deep silver with almost every machine I've ever had from this park. But the EQ 800 is the only that I find myself digging deep iron nails that sound and ID like a perfect dime or quarter. Funny cause I can go out into the ghost towns and hardly dig any iron lol. Doesn't make any sense. I also agree with that the deus/equinox is a unbeatable combo. Not sidekicks, but combo lmao. I wonder where the legend will fit in? I just cant see myself selling the equinox for a legend when almost everything about the legend looks like a copy of the equinox. Except for build quality. Think the legend wins that one. But I already have all the upgrades for equinox so no need. If Nokta/Makro makes some nice preforming coils for legend that might take the cake for me. I'd be happy if they make a 8" like did for simplex. The deus compressed High end ID scale does make it kinda frustrating sometimes. I feel like the equinox does just the opposite at the lower end scale too. Cant wait to try the deus2 in my old park. I can guarantee I'm gonna find a few goodies just by what I'm seeing performance wise from a couple ghost town hunts.
