These are my latest Deus II finds from an old “hunted-out” park. The sterling silver pendant had a big rusty iron nail sitting on top of it yet the Deus II sniffed it out. You can see the nail next to the pendant. You can clearly see the rust on the pendant. The 1918-S Mercury dime was only 4 inches deep but had some iron co-located beneath it. I could hear the low iron audio grunts yet I could also hear a very distinct high tone that read 92 on the VDI. The 1939 Mercury dime was in the same hole as the Buffalo nickel. The dime was about 9” deep yet sounded good and the ID locked on at 92-93. The Deus II continues to impress me!
