Mos I have read or heard from had more time in with their Equinox before they got the Deus II and that might have left a little bias. It also depends on the types of sites hunted and the field time they put in to learn a detector.

So here is a post that supports the likeability of the Deus II and I wonder what direct comments I will hear on our Outing in two weeks and two days? We ought to hear more field reports as weather improves and we get more into detecting season.
